Green Lantern Pizza was born in 1987 from a simple dream: to bring the authentic flavors of traditional hand-crafted pizza to the St. Clair Shores community. Founders Jim and Mary Callahan started with a single oven, a cherished family dough recipe, and an unwavering commitment to quality ingredients.

Grand Opening

Jim and Mary Callahan open Green Lantern Pizza at 30201 Harper Ave with a single oven, a family dough recipe passed down through generations, and a dream of feeding their neighborhood.

1993

First Community Award

Green Lantern Pizza is honored with the St. Clair Shores "Best Local Restaurant" award for the first time — an achievement we've been proud to maintain ever since.

1999

Menu Expansion

We expanded our menu to include specialty pasta dishes, calzones, and a full selection of fresh salads — bringing even more flavor to our loyal customers.

2005

Dining Room Renovation

A major renovation transformed our space into the warm, welcoming dining room our customers know and love today — with seating for families, date nights, and everything in between.

2012

Online Ordering Launch
